Legal Program

Over the past few years, this program has actuated several significant international legal cases. These cases include genocide and terrorism in the state of Guatemala through the open judicial process of Spain, the Massacre of Xaman, an open case in Guatemala, the discrimination case of Rigoberta Menchu Tum, and the defense of community leaders accused by miners in San Marcos. All of these cases are considered as strategic litigation as they allow jurisprudence in important subjects related to human rights and the rights of indigenous peoples.
